ABOUT REDDOG TECHNOLOGY

Reddog Technology was founded in 2005. When the founders started out in business they wanted to outsource their technology requirements but realised they had limited options:

  1. Deal with 10 or so different technology providers and who all specialised in one part of their technology requirements, then spend huge amounts of time trying to co-ordinate each provider.

  2. Hire at least 5 technology experts and build an internal IT department to keep their technology going. Even with 5 technology experts, they would never have enough expertise to manage everything inhouse.

It was obvious there was a need for a technology partner for small and medium business. The company hired a group of technology experts who set about building a corporate grade technology solution with a couple of simple goals:

  1. The technology solution must be better than what is available to small and medium businesses today, but also be price competitive with that solution.

  2. The technology solution must be charged at at flat fee per month and be completely flexible. If someone leaves the equipment can be returned and when someone joins they just order the new equipment.

  3. Clients must have a relationship similar to going to the dentist, you tell the dentist you want them to fix the pain in your mouth, they fix the problem. They do not ask you how fix it or ask you what tools you would use.

  4. Clients must have the efficiency gains of a larger organisation. We supply, support and manage every part of the technology solution for a flat monthly fee.

  5. All workstations, laptops and mobile phones must be reliable and function like they were in an office wherever they are in the world - the technology solution must be completely mobile.

  6. All staff must be able to access any level of technical expertise required to get the job done. Anyone who answers the phone must be able to fix the problem, or know exactly who can.

From those simple goals was born Reddog Technology. We now provide complete technology solutions to small and medium sized organisations all over Australia.

About the founders

The founders of Reddog Technology did not start their careers in the IT industry. They have backgrounds in engineering, project management, finance, business systems analysis and business consulting. The founders are still involved in the business and use their experience in these industries to help mold Reddog Technology into an I.T. partner that allows customers to take their business to the next level.
