We have completed our Enterprise Document Management Product using Alfresco Document Management ... After 18 months of research and development we have completed our Enterprise Document Management solution. We are now running a number of production servers for our clients and are bringing up new servers almost every day. We chose Alfresco (http://www.alfresco.com/) because it fits with our philosophy of working with all major web browsers and major operating systems. Our current installation is working with both Windows and Mac locally and Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Before we started this project we talked with several specialist document management organisations about helping us to build a document management system for our clients. Prices quoted were from $140,000 to $250,000 per client and this was the going rate for Enterprise Document Management systems. Reddog Technology wanted to be able to offer document management to all of our clients and the high cost would preclude most clients from considering it. Because of the high price we decided we would utilise our Team skills to do all of the research and development. Because we did it all in house we are able to offer enterprise document management at 1/10th of the cost of a bespoke system from outside contractors. We are currently offering Enterprise Document Management only to Reddog clients for:

$2.95 (inc GST) per GB of storage
$1.55 (inc GST) per GB of bandwidth
